New babies bring excitement, unconditional love and amazement. It can be hard to capture all of the life changing moments you're experiencing into your memory. A baby memory book can become the most prized possession for a new family.

Memory books like those by Tessera are made with beautiful hard covers in silk or leather. Insert pages are simple and beautiful. Each book comes with the traditional pages such as facts about parents, showers, birth & homecoming, baby firsts, and first through third year memory pages. What makes Tessera so special is that you can customize the books. Additional pages can be bought for adopted families, two moms or two dads, single mom's and baby's first holiday pages.

Spending a short time filling in these books will create memory book that will last for generations.

Someone Spoil Me!

Summer, 2009
If you are looking for a sentimental gift that will "wow" the parents, then a Tessera Publishing Baby Memory Book is the perfect gift for you.   The book comes wrapped  in a beautiful thick box (the type of box that signifies a GOOD gift), and comes in a variety of covers (silk, leather or cotton).  Inside the book are 42 pages that prompt you to fill in pregnancy memories, facts about you and your spouse, planning and showers, the day of baby's birth, homecoming, baby's firsts, and first through third year activities. There are even envelopes on the pages to include samples of the baby's first curl and even photographs from events.  But the best part of this book is that you can order additional inserts- i.e. more details about the baby's events such as baby showers, gifts, & more.  Or you can even request additional inserts for religious events. Each insert set costs approximately $12.

Toy of the Year by Creative Child Magazine

Creative Child Magazine has named the Tessera Kids' Travel Journals as the Toy of the Year in the Kids Travel Category.  They Toy Awards Program is unique in that all products submitted are reviewed by moms, music educators and early education professionals.

Each May in Henderson, Nevada, over a hundred guest reviewers are invited to review of all submitted products.  Guest reviewers are asked to sit and review each product at one station and then move to another station and so forth and so on. This allows for each product to be given multiple reviews.  Upon completion of the event, all review forms are collected by Creative Child Magazine staff assistants. All scores are tabulated and comments are reviewed.

Only one product per category can win a Toy of the Year award. The remaining finalists receive a prestigious Preferred Choice award. The Seal of Excellence is another prestigious award that is given to those products that are not finalists but do exceed expectations based on the criteria for nurturing creativity and education in children.

Babble Best: Top Five Baby Books

Tessera Baby Memory Book - $60-$74

"The forty-two pages of the Tessera Baby Memory Book cover every topic you'd want to write about, from nursery plans and the arrival day to a family tree. I also like that this book takes a moment's pause from patting the kid on the back for choking down strained peas to give props to you, the parents, with pages about your history together and marriage.  Tessera also sells inserts for single mothers, adoptions and multiple births."   Read complete review.
